The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ International Fellows Program Celebrates 20th Anniversary
The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ (ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ) celebrates the 20th anniversary of the International Fellows Program. The program fosters global regulatory collaboration and knowledge exchange through hands-on experience and training in U.S. state-based insurance regulation.
Since its inception, the program has welcomed over 700 participants, both in-person and virtually, from more than 50 countries. The milestone 20th anniversary is a testament to the program's enduring impact and strong worldwide partnerships.
At the 2025 ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ International Insurance Forum, the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ debuted a featuring reflections from former fellows, which highlighted their personal experiences and the invaluable insights on state-based regulation, gained through the program.

About the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ
As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ (ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight. ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ staff supports these efforts and represents the collective views of state regulators domestically and internationally.
