Raymond G. Farmer Award for Exceptional Leadership
Honoring Exemplary Leadership, a Sustained Length of Industry Service, and Contributions to Advancing Our Mission
During the opening session of our Fall National Meeting in December 2021, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ President and Commissioner of Florida’s Department of Insurance, David Altmaier, recognized South Carolina Department of Insurance Director, and ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Immediate Past President, Ray Farmer, with the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ President’s Award for Distinguished ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ Leadership. Following the presentation, ÐÓ°ÉÊÓƵ President Altmaier, announced that the award would be renamed the Raymond G. Farmer Award for Exceptional Leadership in Director Farmer’s honor.
