Inaugural ӰƵ / NIPR Training and Collaboration Summit Celebrates Success

The ӰƵ (ӰƵ) and the National Insurance Producer Registry (NIPR) announce the successful completion of the first-ever ӰƵ / NIPR Training and Collaboration Summit.

The Summit, which was held in a hybrid format, took place at the ӰƵ’s central office in Kansas City, Missouri. From April 18–20, 257 state insurance regulators from 35 ӰƵ member jurisdictions engaged in the Summit’s training sessions.

“It is critical for all states to have access to and utilize ӰƵ and NIPR technology offerings to support their state-based regulation,” said Kansas Insurance Commissioner Vicki Schmidt. “The Training and Collaboration Summit provided a great opportunity for states to learn from and interact with each other to better serve the industry in their state.”

The agenda focused on regulator training and interactive collaboration sessions covering NIPR applications and ӰƵ technology offerings, including State Based Systems (SBS), the System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing (SERFF), the Online Premium Tax for Insurance (OPT ins), iSite, and the Uniform Certificate of Authority Application (UCAA).
