ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ Approves SERFF Fiscal and Responds to Comment Letter

The ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ (ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ) announced today it approved the fiscal for phase one of the SERFF Modernization transition stages following a 10-day public comment period.

The modernization project will ultimately replace the current SERFF platform and enable the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ to enhance the areas of document management, document workflow, and text processing using artificial intelligence, resulting in operational efficiency and regulatory consistency.

About the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ

As part of our state-based system of insurance regulation in the United States, the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ (ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ) provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to effectively regulate the industry and protect consumers. The U.S. standard-setting organization is governed by the chief insurance regulators from the 50 states, the District of Columbia and five U.S. territories. Through the ÐÓ°ÉÊÓÆµ, state insurance regulators establish standards and best practices, conduct peer reviews, and coordinate regulatory oversight.
